House Rules

1. The simple rule

Create and share only work that is yours, in the public domain, or that you have clear permission or a valid licence to use.

Do not copy another artist, pretend their work is yours, or use Syryna to recreate a protected song, recording, lyric, voice, image, logo, or identity.

2. Humming and hand conducting

Hum or conduct melodies you created yourself. Do not deliberately reproduce a recognisable melody, hook, riff, rhythm, or arrangement from someone else’s song.

Syryna’s melody check can flag similarities to some known music, but it cannot check every released or unpublished song. A clear result is guidance, not legal clearance, and you remain responsible for your melody.

Humming keeps detected notes for the browser instruments; your raw hum is not part of the song unless you separately choose to record a vocal take.

3. Instruments, starter sounds, backing tracks and remixes

You may freely use Syryna’s browser-synthesised instruments, drum patterns, starter sounds, backing-track tools, transitions, and effects in your own song.

Demo songs are for learning and experimenting. They cannot be downloaded, released, claimed as original work, or submitted as your own song. Start a blank song before creating work you plan to release.

Remix only your own music or music you have written permission or a valid licence to remix. Changing the style, tempo, key, instruments, or arrangement does not make somebody else’s protected song yours.

If you import audio, samples, MIDI, or stems, you must own them or have a licence that permits your intended use, including commercial release where applicable.

4. Lyrics and written content

Write your own lyrics. Do not copy protected lyrics, distinctive lines, titles used to mislead listeners, or substantial text from another writer.

Do not publish lyrics that threaten, exploit, harass, or target people; promote hatred; sexualise minors; or facilitate serious illegal harm.

Originality prompts and checks are only safeguards. You are responsible for reviewing every word before saving, publishing, or distributing it.

5. Vocals, recordings and vocal layers

Record only your own voice through your account. Do not upload, imitate, clone, impersonate, or present another person’s voice as your own.

Layered vocals, harmonies, pitch guidance, vocal chops, and effects must begin with vocals you lawfully recorded. Processing a voice does not remove the need for permission.

Do not make deceptive recordings, non-consensual intimate audio, threats, harassment, or recordings that expose private information.

6. Collaborating with other artists

Invite only people you trust and agree in advance about writing credits, ownership, payment, release approval, and who may edit or download the song.

Every collaborator must contribute only work they own or are allowed to use. One person’s permission does not cover material supplied by somebody else.

Do not remove a collaborator’s credit, publish a private draft without agreement, or use collaboration access to copy, delete, or misuse their work.

7. Publishing, sharing and artist pages

Before making a song public, check that the music, lyrics, vocals, title, description, credits, and artwork are accurate and lawful.

Do not mislead listeners about who created or performed a song. Do not buy, fake, automate, or manipulate follows, likes, comments, plays, tips, contest activity, or identity information.

Keep comments, messages, profiles, and song descriptions free from harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, scams, spam, private information, and illegal content.

8. Artwork, profile pictures and cover photos

Upload only a photo or artwork you created, own, or have clear permission to use. Everyone shown must have agreed to the image being used publicly.

Profile and cover images cannot contain nudity, sexual or suggestive content, fetish imagery, anyone under 18, violence, gore, self-harm, weapons aimed at people, hate symbols, illegal drugs, or instructions for illegal harm.

Do not upload another person’s photo to impersonate them, deceptive altered images, private images shared without consent, copyrighted artwork, brand logos, store logos, or trademarks you do not have permission to use.

Use JPG, PNG, or WebP files no larger than 5 MB. Choose a clear square image for your profile picture and a clear wide image for your cover photo. Images may be cropped and resized to fit.

Every profile image is screened before it is saved. An unclear or unsafe image may be blocked even when you believe it is acceptable; choose a different image rather than repeatedly trying to upload it.

9. Downloads and releases

Before downloading, you must confirm that the song is your original work and that every imported or collaborative part is lawfully used.

You are fully responsible for releases, credits, licences, permissions, samples, artwork, and distributor declarations. Syryna’s checks help reduce mistakes but are not legal advice or a guarantee against claims.

Keep your own copies of important work. Syryna cannot guarantee permanent storage or uninterrupted access to unfinished projects.

10. What happens when rules are broken

Content may be stopped before upload, flagged, hidden, blocked from download or publishing, removed, or referred for human review.

Serious or repeated violations may lead to feature restrictions or account suspension or closure. Intentionally infringing material may be removed without notice or refund where permitted by law.

Rights holders and community members can use Report a problem. We review reports and may ask for evidence of ownership, consent, or licensing.
